The mission of The Churchill Society of New Orleans is to spread appreciation of the thoughts, words, and deeds of Winston Spencer Churchill, to foster an outlook on world events that builds on his wisdom, his courage, his love of Anglo-American traditions, and his renowned prescience, and to enjoy the brilliance of his writings, his speeches, and his wit.


The 2017-2018 Winston Churchill Essay is over. Winning Essays were submitted from Episcopal High School of Baton Rouge, Patrick Taylor Academy, New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy, St Martin’s Episcopal School, and Isidore Newman School.
