Churchill Society of New Orleans

The mission of The Churchill Society of New Orleans is to spread appreciation of the thoughts, words, and deeds of Winston Spencer Churchill, to foster an outlook on world events that builds on his wisdom, his courage, his love of Anglo-American traditions, and his renowned prescience, and to enjoy the brilliance of his writings, his speeches, and his wit.


The 2018-2019 Winston Churchill Essay Contest is over. 24 essays have been submitted, from New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy, St Martin’s Episcopal School, Episcopal High School of Baton Rouge, Lusher Charter School, and Isidore Newman School. The Winners will be announced soon by May 1st.
